Jean Paul Chalot - Chief Executive Officer

With 25 years in the Oil & Gas industry as senior executive and executive consultant in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Jean Paul has extensive experience in originating, developing, financing and implementing energy projects with a unique background combining positions with major NOC's (PDVSA) and governments as well as working at executive levels with major energy companies (BP & Schlumberger). Internationally recognised by major decision makers of the Oil & Gas industry.

Harry Bockmeulen - Director, New Ventures

With 30 years of international experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry, has led projects and managed operations in the UK, USA, North Africa and Latin America. During his career he has specialised in planning, business development, contract negotiations and relations with state companies and governments. Harry has held senior positions in BP, Williams and PDVSA. He is a director on Energy Technology Partners, LLC and member of SPE, AAPG, AIPN and the Royal Society of Chemistry.

J. David Britt, Jr. - Non-Executive Director

With 25 years of international business experience within multi disciplined business ventures, Mr. Britt has led and managed operations within the aerospace and defense, hospitality, commodity, construction and service industries in the United States, Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean Basin and Pacific Ring. During his career he has held senior positions within mergers and acquisitions, programme management, business development, contract negotiations and business operations in addition to maintaining relations with senior government officials, financial institutions and the leadership of international corporations.

Jonathan S. Paris - Senior Policy Advisor

With 30 years of international policy and business experience in New York, London and Singapore, Mr. Paris brings an interdisciplinary background to Continentoil. As an international banking lawyer in Singapore, he structured project financings for energy and commodities-based companies in Southeast Asia. He was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers Inc in New York and Vice President of Merrill Lynch International Bank in London, where he worked extensively with private and public sector clients in the Gulf. He is a policy analyst on the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, European and transatlantic relations and US foreign policy formerly as a Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and currently with think tanks and academic institutions in London, Paris and Washington.
